James M. Taylor Executive Director for Operations NINE t1ILE POINT UNIT 2 RESTART PLAN By memorandum dated August 30,
- 1991, you provided me with your restart plan for Nine Mile Point 2.
With the exception of the issues related to the UPS, I agree with your proposed restart plan and the steps that need to be completed, including receiving the concurrence of NRR, AEOD and me, prior to releasing ttiagara Mohawk from Confirmatory Action Letter 91-13.
NRR is responsible for reviewing the licensee's evaluation of the root causes of the UPS failures, the proposed corrective actions, and associated restart issues.
NRR's evaluation and restart issues will be forwarded to you by separate memorandum when completed.
