to . the inspection
conducted

of this office on
February
14,
1992.
The inspection
included
a review of activities authorized
for your
Browns
Ferry facility.
At the conclusion of the inspection,
the
findings
were
discussed
with those
members
of your staff identified in the
report.
Areas
examined
during the inspection
are identified in the report.
Within
these
areas,
the inspection
consisted
of selective
examinations
of'rocedures
and
representative
records,
interviews with personnel,
and observation
of
activities in progress.
Following the inspection,
you were notified that
a potential violation of the
transportation
regulations
occurred.
After further review, it was
determined
that
the
regulations
regarding
blocking
and
bracing
were
not sufficiently
specific to this type of incident to support
a violation therefore
none
was
issued.
In accordance
with 10 CFR 2.790(a),
a copy of this letter
and its enclosure
will be placed in the
NRC Public Document
Room.
