NO. 278 DELETION OF APPENDIX B In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50 '
and 50.90, TVA submits a
request for amendments to licenses DPR-33, DPR-52, and DPR-68 to change the BFN TSs for Units 1, 2, and 3 (Enclosure 1).
This proposed amendment will delete Appendix B of the TSs.
Description, reason for change, and justification in support of the proposed change is provided in Enclosure 2.
A proposed determination of no significant hazards consideration is provided in Enclosure 3.
TVA requests that this change be made effective 30 days after issuance.
TVA also requests that TS 172, which was submitted on March 4,
- 1982, be withdrawn.
This change would have allowed a unit to operate at a reduced power level with a single recirculation loop in service.
This section has changed significantly due to stability concerns and this change is no longer required.
