BROVNS FERRY RE(UALIFICATION EXAMINATION REPORl 260/OL-90-01 The NRC administered examinations durirg the weeks of January 22 and February 5,
- 1990, to employees of your company who currently hold licenses to operate the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant.
At the conclusion of the site visits, preliminary findings were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the Examination Report, Enclosure
'1.
A table summarizing the examination results for each examined individual is provided in Enclosure 2.
Copies of the written examinations and answer keys adiriinistered during both weeks are included in this report as Enclosure 3.
A Rcqualification Program Evaluation Report is included as Enclosure 4.
This Evaluation Report finds that the Browns Ferry Program satisfies the criteria of NUREG-1021, ES-601 and is assigned an overall'ating of Satisfactory.
Accordingly, all commitments specified in the Confirmation of Action Letter (CAL-50-259,260,296/86-01) dated January 2,
- 1986, are considered to have been satisfied.
Your attention is invited to information in the Requalification Evaluation Report which describes the NRC concerns over examination development and administration.
These concerns have been discussed with your training staff both during the development and administration of the examination.
A Simulation Facility Fidelity Report is provided in, this report as Enclosure 5.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a),
a copy of this letter and Enclosures 1,
3, 4, and 5 will be placed i.n th'e NRC's Public Document Room.
Enclosure 2 is exempt from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790(a) and will not be sent to the Public Document Room.
