On August 22-25,
1989 the
NRC conducted
an allegation followup inspection of
activities authorized
by
NRC Licenses
and
DPR-68 for your
Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Units 1,
2 and 3.
This inspection consisted
of a review of records
and reports
necessary
to establish validity or
non-validity of allegations
against
TVA licensed activities
and
a review
of the Conditions Adverse to guality Program to determine if all requirements
of Order Modifying License,
EA-85-49, have
been
addressed
and completed for
Browns Ferry.
The enclosed
inspection report details
the scope, activities reviewed,
and
results of the inspection.
In accordance
with Section 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice,"
Part 2,
Title 10,
Code of Federal
Regulations,
a copy of this letter and its
enclosure will be placed in the
NRC Public Document
Room.
