The staff has reviewed TVA's response, for Browns Ferry Nuc'lear Plant, Units 1, 2 and 3, dated September 18, 1987, to NRC Bu11etin 87-01, "Thinning of Pipe Walls in Nuclear Power Plants."
The information that you provided is being used to determine the extent of industry participation and implementation of erosion/corrosion inspection
- programs, and to obtain data on observed pipe wall thinning.
The staff has reviewed your past activities and future plans for this topic and find them to be programmatica11y acceptable.
