246 dated June 17, 1988 TVA letter regarding SQN Technical Specification change No. 88-12 dated June 13, 1988 As Chairman Runyon indicated in his testimony to the Commission on June 21, 1988, it is extremely important that the reorganization of TVA's Office of Nuclear Power be implemented in tandem with the other TVA organizational changes which are now scheduled to occur on July 1, 1988.
As part of the organization change proposed for the Office of Nuclear Power, TVA has pending before the Commission a request to amend its technical specificatio f

an FN nuclear facilities to conform to Generic Letter 88-06.
Approval
, of these technical specifications by July 1, 1988 is essential to the complete implementation of the agency-wide organizational changes TVA has proposed to achieve a more effective and responsive organization.
Your timely assistance in permitting us to meet this schedule will be greatly appreciated.
Due to the evolving nature of certain of these organizational changes and the resulting revisions in the ultimate form of TVA's submission, it was not possible to submit these applications in suffici.ent time to meet the 30-da eomment perxod.
However, please be assured that these submissions were in no
