SUMMARY
FOR THE JUNE 4, 1987, MEETING BETWEEN NRC AND TYA REGARDING THE SCOPE AND PROGRESS ON KEY TECHNICAL PROGRAMS AND THE STATUS OF RESTART ISSUES FOR BROWNS FERR On June 4,
- 1987, a meeting was held at the Browns Ferry Training Center between NRC staff and representatives of TVA for the purpose of the NRC staff being briefed on the status of restart issues for the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant.
Attachment 1 is a transcription of the meeting.
Attachment 2 is the list of attendees.
As documented in Attachment 1, TVA provided the NRC with the current licensing status of Browns Ferry, organization and people and key programs from Volume 3
of the Nuclear Performance Plan for Browns'erry.
The format for the presen-tation included a brief presentation of each of the particular issues including the scope, approach for resolution of.the issue, and the current status.
TVA's presentation was effective in familiarizing the new NRC TVA Projects staff with the issues fa'cing TVA, the resources being managed to resolve each issue, and the general issue status.
