Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Units 1, 2, and 3

The NRC will perform an independent welding team inspection during the period April 20-24, 1987 at the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant.

The objective of this inspection, inspection tasks and inspectors participating on the team are identified in the enclosure.

Members of your staff will be kept informed of our inspection progress and significant findings.

An exit meeting with you or members of your staff will be conducted on April 24, 1987 in accordance with our normal procedures.

The inspection results of the team inspection will be transmitted to you through the standard NRC inspection report.
