My letter, PLA-239 of April 16, 1978, provided supplanental information regarding t?m subject deficiercy ard the inspection program ard subsecuent corrective actions which were taken to asses and assure t?w acceptability of S~ safety related pipe hangers for which ITT-Grinnell is the 'supplier.
In the referer~ letter you were advised that. PP&L anticipated suhnittiap a final definitive report of t?a deficiercy by February 1, 1979.

. in the final ccmpilationr PP&L deter111ined that t?1e report suhnit~ to us by Bechtel Power CoqnraMn on January 29, 1979 reauires furt?ar clarification and elaboration.
Merefore, on February 1, 1979 Mr. A. R. Sabol, PP&L, advised?M.
R. YaGaughy of >PC Region I accordingly and reauested and received an extension of sixty (60) days for suhnLttal of said final definitive report.
