Dear Mr. Youngblood:

On January 8,

1981 the telephone prefix 821 will be replaced by 770 for all Pennsylvania Power and Light Company's General Office Complex telephone numbers.

The prefix change will not affect the four digit extension numbers currently in use.

Changing the prefix number cannot be done at the same times for all numbers but will be accomplished in blocks of numbers.

If, on 1/8/81, you call using the new prefix and get a recorded message informing you that the call cannot be completed please redial using prefix 821.

By 1/9/81 the new prefix will be in operation for all numbers.

Please inform all concerned 'personnel in your organization of this change.
