A confirmatory indication of SRV opening or long term leakage is provided via temperature elements mounted in thermowells on each of the SRV tail pipes.
Use of these indications as an aid to operator diagnosis of an SRV action will be discussed in applicable Off-Normal and Emergency procedures.
