PLA-758 Dear Mr. Schwencert On July 16, 1981 we held a meeting with the Containment Systems Branch to review the methodology to be used on Susquehanna in determining submerged structure drag loads due to LOCA steam condensation.

This methodology was submitted with the reference letter.

As a result of this meeting PP&L agrees to perform a series of sensitivity studies to determine the appropriate plant specific valves for the hydrodynamic mass constant (k) to be used in calculation of submerged structure drag loads due to LOCA steam condensation.

We understand this commitment will close SER Outstanding Issue 29.
