This letter is to inform you that Pennsylvania Power 5 Light Company currently plans to construct a holding facility for low-level radioactive waste at its Susquehanna Steam Electric Station. The facility will provide interim for a maximum period of four years and is intended storage'apability for contingency use only. Ne are in the process of finalizing the design of the facility and anticipate filing for the nec-essary license at the appropriate time. Construction is ex-pected to begin in March 1981.
