50-387A and 50-388A As I discussed with you during our telephone conversation of August 2, 1980, as part of our antitrust operating license review for the Susquehanna Units it is necessary that we receive confirmation that Pennsylvania Power 8 Light Company (PPSL) has carried out certain commitments referred to fn the De-partmentt of Justice's Advice letter'of April 28, 1972.
Specifically, the Department's letter states that PPEL would offer ownership participation fn Susquehanna to UGI Corporation. It fs requested that we receive a state-ment by you, plus confirming correspondence ff available, that such offer was actually made.
The Department's letter also refers to the fact that PPKL had committed itself to eliminating or revising certain types of antfcom-petitfve provisions fn fts wholesale power contracts.
Please advise whether these revisions have been made and, in addition, forward to us a sample copy of PPSL's revised wholesale power contracts that are presently fn effect with municipalities and cooperatives.
One final matter that was duscussed durfng our telephone conversation was PPSL's recent settlement in a FERC proceeding fn Dockets ER-78-70 and ER-78-71 involving a dispute between PPSL and UGI. It would be appreciated ffyou would briefly descrfbe the problems fnvolved fn that case and slould send to us a copy of the settlement agreement accepted by FERC on September 14, 1977.
