- 7. Q Confirming discussions with your staff, permission is requested for Hr. Hichael Tokar of the Core Performance Branch/NRR to visit the Browns Ferry site on Hay 12, 1983.
The purpose of the visit is to discuss the test conducted from October 23 to November 1, 1982 on Browns Ferry Unit 2 fuel bundles, in which it was concluded that the cause of the fuel failures was due to "crud induced localized corrosion00 If you have any questions or comments, please advise Dick Clark, the Browns Ferry Prospect Hanager.
