In the Matter of the Tennessee Valley Authority Docket No. 50-260 In D. S. Kammer's January 25, 1983 letter to you, we provided our final report on indications discovered in the Browns Ferry unit 2 recir culation system manifold.
Our report referenced a Linear Elastic Fractur e Mechanics (LEFM) analysis performed by General Electric.
The referenced LEFM report has now been completed and is enclosed.
As requested in our January 25 letter, we need to know immediately if you have any problems with our approach in this matter to preclude any adverse impact in the unit 2 startup schedule.
