RESULTS OF PERIODIC REVIEW OF REGULATORY 8.37 This memorandum documents the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) periodic review of Regulatory Guide (RG) 8.37, Revision 0, ALARA Levels for Effluents from Materials Facilities, respectively. As discussed in Management Directive 6.6, Regulatory Guides, the NRC staff reviews RGs periodically to ensure that the RGs continue to provide useful guidance.
Documentation of the NRC staff reviews is enclosed with a brief description listed below:
- RG 8.37 has been reviewed with no issues identified. The staff will consider any new technical information that may be available during the next periodic review and determine if an update is needed.
