Conditions =Prior to Occurrence:

Unit 1 at 98% power Unit 2 refueling

~.Unit 3 at 86% power Action specified in the Technical Specification Surveillance Requirements met due to ino erable e ui ment.

No technical specification on the level alarm switches.

Report is made under IE Bulletin 80-14.

~A arent Cause of Occurrence:

Float on level switch stuck.

Anal sis of Occurrence:

There was no damage to the plant equipment.

There was no activity release, no personnel

. exposure or injury and no danger to the health or safety of the public.

Corrective Action

Back flushed the switch with water and functionally checked satisfactorily.

The switch will be replaced by DC/ 1398, completion date not known at this time.
