of Occurrence:

Recirculation pump 2B tripped when recirculation 8G set generator stator temp.

relay picked up.

Anal sis of Occurrence:

There was no damage to plant equipment.

There was no activity release, no personnel exposure or injury and no danger to health or safety of the public.

Corrective Action

Ejlectrical tests were run on the relay and RTD.

The windings were bridged,

meggered, hi-potted and inspected for moisture and damage.

No problems were found and cause of relay actuation unknown.

A spurious signal suspected.
