Dear Mr. Fitch:
Puget Sound Power 8c Light Company submits herewith Amendment 5 to its Application for Site Certification/Environmental Report (ASC/ER) for the Skagit/Hanford Nuclear project.
Amendment 5 incorporates responses to the questions received from the Washington State Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council and the NRC on Amendment 4 and changes to the text and technical clarifications resulting from the response preparation and review.
The changes are indicated by a dark vertical line in the margin followed by the amendment number to which the change is applicable. Pages affected by Amendment 5 carry the date in the upper right-hand corner.
Instructions for incorporating the material into the ASC/ER are provided.
Copies of Amendment 5 have been sent to EFSEC members per Attachment 1.
