SUBJECT:
SUMMARY
OF ISC DESIGN REVIEW MEETING FOR SHEARON HARRIS A meeting was held in New York City at the office of Ebasco on September 14-16, 1982.
The purpose of the meeting was to continue the design review of the ISC systems for Shearon Harris which was started on August 16-19, 1982, at the Shearon Harris site.
The agenda for the meeting was transmitted to the applicant by letter dated July 30, 1982.
Meeting attendees are listed in Enclosure 1.
The meeting is summarized as follows:
~Summa The applicant and its contractors, Westinghouse and Ebasco, made presentations with the use of detail drawings to address the remainder of the 56 items (included as an enclosure to the July 30, 1982 letter) which were not completed during the August 16-19 meeting.
As a result, the staff determined that Items 1, 8, 32, 37, 41, 45, and 55 were sufficiently described in the FSAR so that no further information was required for those items.
For a number of items (i.e., 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 17, 23, 24, 28, 33, 34, 38, 42. 46, and 54), additional clarifying information is required.
The applicant agreed to provide the additional information and will submit as much as it can by September 30, 1982.
The remaining six items (i.e.,
Items 7, 22, 29, 30, 44, and 50) were also discussed.
Complete information on those six items s(as not available because of the status of design.
As a result, they remain as open issues and wil appear so in the draft SER.
