SUMMARY

CONCERNING CONDUCT OF THE SAFETY REVIEW BY THE INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL SYSTEMS BRANCH (ICSB)

On July 7, 1982 a meeting was held in Bethesda with CP8L concerning the conduct of the safety review by the ICSB.

A list of attendees is enclos'ed.

CP8L was given a copy of the 'memorandum from P.

Check to R. Tedesco dated April 13, 1981 that outlines the 8 steps being followed in the ICSB safety review.

This meeting was Step 2 of that memorandum.

After a discussion of the det'ails of the review the schedule for the two review meetings were addressed.

The first review meeting (agenda based on questions previously sent to CP8L) is to be held at the Plant site during the week of 16 August. It is anticipated that all of the NSSS review and some of the BOP review can be finished at this first meeting.

The second meeting,'i ll be held about mid-September at Ebasco's offices in New York City to complete the BOP review.
