NRC EXAMINATIONREPORT NO. 50-400/98-301
Dear Mr. Scarola:
On October 2, 1998, the facilityadministered the written exam.
On October 5-8, 1998, the NRC
administered examinations to employees of your company who had applied for licenses to
operate the Harris Nuclear Power Plant. At the conclusion of the examination, the examiners
discussed the examination questions and preliminary findings with those members of your staff
identified in the enclosed report.
Five Senior Reactor Operators and two Reactor Operators were administered the examination
and all passed.
A Simulation Facility Report is included in this report as Enclosure 2. A copy of the written
examination questions and answer key, as noted in Enclosure 3, was provided to the members
of your training staff at the conclusion of the examination.
No official facilitypost examination
comments were provided.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's'"Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its
enclosure willbe placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
