Dear Hr. Robinson:
This letter confirms the telephone
conversation
on June
16,
1997,
concerning
a
pre-decisional
enforcement
conference
requested
by you which has
been
scheduled for July 8,
1997, at 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The purpose of this
enforcement
conference is to discuss
the apparent violation identified in NRC
Inspection Report 50-400/97-04 which addresses
a failure to meet the
requirements of 10 CFR 50.59 for a maintenance
procedure revision that allowed
removal of the containment missile shields in Mode 3.
The location of the
meeting will be at the
NRC Region II Office, 61 Forsyth Street,
SE, in
Atlanta, Georgia.
The meeting will be held in the Hain Conference
Room,
24T20, which is located
on the 24th floor.
The meeting is an open meeting
as
per "Staff Meetings
Open to the Public; Final Policy Statement"
