On March 10, 1997, Carolina Power &Light Company (CP8cL) requested a revision to the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant (HNP) Technical Specifications (TS) related to "Revised Action and Surveillance for ECCS Accumulators".
On March 14, 1997, CP8cL also requested a license amendment for TS 3/4.5.4, Refueling Water Storage Tank, and its associated Bases.
On May 6, 1997, the NRC issued Amendment No. 71 to the HNP TS which incorporated this requested revision. Amendment 71 independently revised one page from the March 10, 1997 request which is still under review.
Enclosure 1 contains revised TS pages, B 3/4 5-1, B 3/4 5-1a, and B 3/4 5-2 (Bases), which incorporate the changes from Amendment No. 71, as well as the March 10, 1997 proposed changes.
Accordingly, these pages should be substituted for the corresponding pages in our March 10, 1997 request.
