Dear Hr. Robinson:

This refers to a meeting requested by Carolina Power 5 Light Company on October 21, 1996, in Atlanta, Georgia.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the Shearon Harris Generic Letter 96-01 efforts and Operator Performance.

It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial.

Enclosed is a List of Attendees and Carolina Power 8 Light Handout.

The agenda included discussions of the following topics:

Shearon Harris Generic Letter 96-01 Testing of Safety Related Logic Circuits, and Operations Human Performance Adverse Trends.
