Attachment to HNP-95-010 SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSE TO A NOTICE OF VIOLATION NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-400/94-21 The following supplemental information is provided for Re orted Violation B, under Corrective Ste s Taken to Prevent Further Violations: (new paragraph 3)
In addition to the corrective steps above, a review of selected correspondence from CPS'o the NRC has been initiated by the plant staff.
This review consists of an initial screen of responses to NRC Generic Letters and Bulletins as well as responses to Notices ofViolation and Licensee Event Reports from 1986 through 1994 in order to identifypotential programmatic-type responses (similar to the Generic Letter 89-13 service water response).
This is being followed by a more comprehensive review of selective programs identified through this screen.
The purpose of this program review is to evaluate those selected programs and their commitments in order to ensure that the original intent of the program continues to be met.
A review of Generic Letter 88-14 (instrument air systems) has already been completed by the onsite Nuclear Assessment Section as a part of this overall effort.
