TEMPORARY WAIVER OF COMPLIANCE FOR TURKEY POINT UNIT 4 DOCKET NO. 50-251 This letter acknowledges your'etter (L-90-251) dated July 5, 1990, requesting a
temporary waiver of compliance from the action statement of Technical Specification (TS) 3.4.2.b.l, Engineered Safety Features
- Emergency Contain-ment Cooling Systems.
In order to facilitate repair s to the 4A Emergency Containment Cooler (ECC)
Component Cooling Water (CCW) outlet valve, you requested a,48-hour extension to the 24-hour out-of-service time allowed by the TS.
We have reviewed your request which included discussions with your staff on July 5,
1990.
A 24-hour time extension was subsequently granted in a
telephone conversation with Region II on July 5, 1990.
