TEMPORARY WAIVER OF COMPLIANCE FOR TURKEY POINT UNIT 4 DOCKET NO. 50-251 This letter acknowledges your letter (L-90-184) dated May 15, 1990, requesting a
temporary waiver of compliance from the action statement of Technical Specification (TS) 3.4.5.b.2, Engineered Safety Features
- Intake Cooling Water
( ICW) System.
In order to facilitate repairs to the 4B ICW pump, you requested a 6-day extension to the 24-hour out-of-service time allowed by the TS.
We have reviewed your request which included discussions with your staff on May 15, 1990.
A 24-hour time extension was subsequently granted in a
telephone conversation with Region II on May 15, 1990.
