AND 4 AND ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO CONSTRUCTION. PERMITS Pursuant to the issuance on July 13, 1979 of a Supplemental Initial Decision
'Construction Permit) by the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (Commission) has issued Amendment No.
1 to Construction Permit Nos. CPPR-158, CPPR-159, CPPR-160 and CPPR-161.
Amendment No.
1 adds an additional condition to the construction permits issued on January 2?,
1978 to the Carolina Power 8 Light Company for construction of the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1, 2, 3, and 4 located about 20 miles southwest of Raleigh, North Carolina in Hake and Chatham Counties.
The amended permits are effective as of their date of issuance.
The Supplemental Initial'ecision is available for inspection by the public in the Corrmission's Public Document Room at 1717 H Street, N. W., Washington, D.C.
and in the Hake County Library, 104 Fayetteville Street, Raleigh, North Carolina 27601.
4 The Coozission has made appropriate findings as required by the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's regulations in 10 CFR Chapter 1, which are set forth in the amended construction permits.
