& 50-251 Post-TMI Re ui rements The following information is being sent to you as a result of conversations with your staff.
1.
Post-Accident Sampling System I I. B.3 In our letter of November 15,
- 1982, we stated that the on-line chloride analyzer had not been shipped due to operability problems identified by the manufacturer.
It is now scheduled that the on-line chloride analyzer will be delivered on March 4, 1983.
As we stated in our letter of January 28,
- 1983, we will provide you with an update of the status of the system on or before March 30, 1983.
2.
Noble Gas Monitors/Iodine Particulate Sam ling I I.F.1.1, I I.F.1.2 a.
Plant Vent Effluent Monitor It is estimated that the modifications to the plant vent effluent monitor to provide isokinetic sampling will be implemented by, June 30, 1983.
b.
Air Ejector Effluent Monitor It is estimated that the modifications that address the operability problems of the air ejector effluent monitor due to moisture accumulation will be implemented for Turkey Point Unit 3 by February 28, 1983.
At that time, preoperational testing will be performed'o determine the. success of the modification.

Modifications necessary for the Unit;4 system will not be made until after the Unit 3 monitors have been declared operable.
