REVIEW OF LETTER OF AGREEMENT We have received a letter dated June 19,

1991, from Mr. Greg A. Casto of your staff, requesting that we review our Letter of Agreement to support you during an emergency.

We have reviewed the NRC Letter of Agreement with Florida Power and Light dated September 11, 1990, to Mr. J.

H. Goldberg.

We do confirm that this Letter of Agreement is still current and applies as written.

I have also signed and dated the confirmation letter that you requested.

In the future it will not be necessary to obtain our annual concurrence of agreement.

It is our statutory responsibility to respond to an incident that has the potential to threaten the health and safety of the public or the environment at the Florida Power and Light nuclear facilities.

As we explained in our letter to you, the NRC has developed and implemented an Incident

Response

Plan, NUREG-0728, Revision l.

You have a copy of this document and the associated implementing procedures.

We believe that these documents provide all of the information that you requested in your letter of June 19, 1991.
