TURKEY POINT UNITS 3 AND 4 - GENERIC LETTER 83-28 IMPLEMENTATION STATUS The-'pur'pose of this".letter is to-request your assistance in establishing the status of implementation of actions required by Generic Letter 83-28.
Generic Letter 83-28 required'icensees'o take certain actions related to the reactor trip system based" on'he generic implication of the Salem ATMS events.
In order for the NRC to update its records and close out completed issues, Florida Power and Light,,(FPL) jis requested to provide the status of licensing actions and implementation'. for, all appropriate items contained in Gener ic Letter 83-28.
Implementation is intended to include modification, testing, procedures and training.
For items which have been implemented, please provide the date implementation was complete and a reference which documents the completion.
As discussed with Mr. T. Grozan of your staff, FPL's response to this letter is requested within 45 days of receipt of this letter.
