RII-88-A-0066 MAINTENANCE CONCERNS This letter is in reference to further allegations received by the NRC regarding maintenance program deficiencies at your Turkey Point facility.
The enclosures to this letter provide the details relative to this issue.
The NRC has not made an attempt to ascertain the accuracy of the information supplied by the informant.
The enclosed information is provided for your review so that you can take appropriate action.
The enclosed information is being supplied in confidence and is not being placed in the Public Document Room.
Appropriate safeguards should be applied to the enclosed information in view of its unsubstantiated nature in order to avoid a possible unwarranted invasion of privacy.
In your letter dated February 24,
- 1989, you provided a response to previous
'llegations of deficiencies in your maintenance and ALARA programs.
We request that you review the enclosed concerns and respond only to those which you find are of a different nature from those which you have previously responded to in your February 24 submittal.
Please provide a response to this letter within 45 days of receipt.
In order to assure the confidentiality of the information within the
- NRC, please mark your letter as containing "Information Exempt from Public Disclosure Under 10 CFR 2.790 (a)(6) and (7)."
Indicate on the envelope that it is to be "OPENED BY ADDRESSEE ONLY."
