Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 Docket Nos. 50-250 and 50-25 I Proposed License Amendment Reactor Vessel Level Monitoring System NRC TAC Nos. 62072 and 62073 By letter dated July I8, l986 (L-86-296), Florida Power 6 Light Company (FPL) submitted a request to amend Appendix A of Facility Operating Licenses DPR-3 I and DPR-4I to incorporate plant specific technical specifications for the Reactor Vessel Level Monitoring System.
Your letter of December 5, l986 requested that we modify our submittal such that Action Statement 9 (Table 3.5-5) would require restoration of the system (both channels) to operable status prior to restart from the scheduled refueling outage.
We have revised our submittal in accordance with your request.
The attached technical specification pages supersede the same pages included with our July I8, l986 letter.
The conclusions reached, in the Safety and No Significant Hazards Evaluation remain unchanged.
This revision has been reviewed by the Turkey Point Plant Nuclear Safety Committee and the FPL Company Nuclear Review Board.
