NRC Region II performed

an inspection at your Turkey Point facility during the

period November 4-8 and 18-22,

1985,

as

a followup to the subject Safety System

Functional

Inspection Report.

The findings from this followup inspection

are

provided in Inspection

Report

Nos. 50-250/85-40

and 50-251/85-40,

dated

January

2,

1986.

On January

8,

1986,

an enforcement

conference

was held

with'embers

of your staff at the

NRC Region II Office to review your corrective

actions for the safety concerns identified by the aforementioned

NRC Region II

inspection.

At this enforcement

conference

we also discussed

your December

6,

1985,

response.

It is our understanding

that you will respond

in writing to

NRC Region II by

January

31,

1986, regarding the concerns identified in their followup inspection

report.

Additionally, findings identified in the subject

NRC Safety System

Functional

Inspection

Report and in the Region II followup inspection report

may result in enforcement action, which would be the subject of separate

correspondence.

Accordingly, no further response

to this office is requested

of you at this time regarding

these matters.
