By letter dated October 14. 1983, the Division of Licensing (DL) staff informed you of.the comp'Ietion of their review of your applications dated Hay 14, 1981 and June 10, 1982 and.issued Amendment Nos.
96 and 90 to 'Facility Operating License.Nos.
DPR-31 and. DPR-41 for the Turkey Point Plant Unit. Nos. 3 and 4.
These applications proposed Technical Specifica-tion changes related to requirements for visual inspections and periodic testing of mechanical snubbers.
A Class III fee ($4.,000) and a Class I fee ($400) were remitted with each of these applications.
Based on information provided by the DL staff as the result of their final review of your applications,.it has been determined that one Class-III, fee ($4,000) and one Class I fee {$400). are appropriate since the review involved consideration of a single safety issue and a duplicate unit. It is our understanding that the June 10, 1982, application contained information which was considered as being supplemental to your Hay 14, 1981 request.
Therefore, we have concurrently authorized the Division of Accounting and Finance to refund the sum of $4,400 to your Company.
Refunds are generally processed within a two-week period.
