Dear Dr. Uhrig:
SUBJECT:

Me further indicated that we would finalize our review upon receipt of your response to concerns indentified in the safety evaluation.
The responses to our concerns were provided in your letter dated January 4, 1983.
We have reviewed your responses and found them acceptable with dne exception relating to the procedures for reinstating power to the affected valves durfgg a Loss of Coolant Accident (LOCA).
P We have discussed this concern with your staff and requested that the LOCA procedures be changed to indicate that nuclear or nuclear turbine operators will be dispatched to the appropriate locations to reinstate power to the valves required for recirculation as soon as a

We will finalize our review and issue a supplement to the safety evaluation upon receipt of your comoitment to change the procedures.
