A calculational
error
has
been
found in paragraph
13
(page 35) of the
subject report.
Under the discussion of the effects of changes
in axial offset
on reactor coolant inventory calculations,
the change for a
5X offset change
should
be 3.3 gallons
and not 50 as stated.
The error resulted
from the use of
the entire reactor coolant
system
volume
(8043 cubic feet) in the calculation,
instead of the core volume (536 cubic feet).
This error does
not affect any of
the findings of the report.
