FEMA EXERCISE EVALUATION TEAM REPORT FOR THE JANUARY 14-15,

1987, TURKEY POINT EXERCISE Enclosed are copies of correspondence received from FEMA documenting their findings of offsite emergency preparedness which was evaluated during the Turkey Point exercise, conducted on January 14-15, 1987.

No deficiencies were identified, however, two areas were noted as requiring corrective actions, and eleven items were recommended for improvement.

We encourage your continued assistance to the State of Florida and surrounding counties within the 10-mile EPZ in the development of a scenario for the next exercise that will test as many of the items as practical in which corrective actions were recommended.

We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
