VITAL AREA REQUIREMENTS This is in response to your letter of April 3, 1985 regarding the upgrading of certain vital area barriers and vital equipment concerns identified in the Turkey Point Regulatory Effectiveness Review Report.
We agree with your position and accordingly, intend to take no further action on this matter at this time.
This decision is based on the recent formation of a Vital Area Assumptions Committee which has been detailed to review vital area requirements and practices.
Any action taken at this time might be contradicted later by their findings.
