50-250 Peaking Factor Limit Re ort On November 23, 1981, (L-81-492), Florida Power 5 Light Company submitted a
proposed license amendment relating to Base Load and Radial Burndown operation.
Included in the requested amendment was a requirement to submit a
Peaking Factor Limit Report 60 days prior to cycle initial criticality (Proposed Technical Specification paragraph 6.9.3.d, page 6-22).
This submittal comprises that "Peaking Factor Limit Report" for Turkey Point Unit 3 Cycle 8 and is classified Westinghouse Proprietary Class 2.
Although the proposed amendment has not yet been
- approved, we are submitting this report to provide advance notification of our intentions.
For Turkey Point Unit 3 Cycle 8, the augmented surveillance turnon power fraction, PT, as defined in the reference submittal is 0.98 from Beginning-of-Cycle through 2000 MWD/MTU.
At 2000 MWD/MTU through End-of-Cycle, PT is )
1.0.
The W(Z) functions for Base-Load Operation corresponding to a +
2X, and
+
3/ band about the the target flux difference is enclosed in addition to the Load-Follow functions Fz(Z).
Revisions and subsequent amendments to the Peaking Factor Limit Report will be made in accordance with Technical Specification paragr aph 6.9.3.d of the reference submittal.
