Provide a narrative description of the modifications scheduled for completion by 15 March 1981.

Testing schedule (January 1981 for Unit 2, April 1981 for Unit 3) versus the modification installation schedule may create the need for additional testing after modification installation.
You shoul'd make a commitment to test modisications AFTER i'nstallation is completed c.
Verify that all safety-related equipment remains in its, emergency mode upon reset of the ESF signal.

In your supplemental response dated 21 October 1980 (L-80-348):
l.
Identify the signal that closes the feedwater main control valves.
2.
Identify the signal from the reactor trip breakers that perform the seal-in function of the above signal.
3'.
Does resetting of either of the above signals cause the feedwater main control valves to open?
4.
Identify the signal that closes the feedwater bypass control valves.
5.
Does resetting of this signal.cause the feedwater bypass control valves to open?
6.
Does the manual reset, by itself cause the feedwater bypass control valves to open?
7.
Provide a narrative description as to how the above circuitry functions with regard to ESF enabling signals and, ESF reset signals (including manual reset).
