As discussed in our initial response to the subject Bul etter L-81-7 dated January 7,,1981),

we committed to investigate ot er instances of system leakage inside containment by reviewing the Generation Equipment Maintenance System (GEMS) data base.

Our review of the GEMS data base showed one additional instance of minor leakage of component cooling water inside containment from the head flange of the excess letdown heat exchanger.

This leakage,

however, was not quantified.

Repairs were made by tightening the studs and nuts securing the flange.

An additional 6 manhours were expended in preparation of this supplement.

Very truly yours, Robert E. Uhrig Vice President Advanced Systems 5 Technology REU/PLP/mrs cc:

Director, Office of Inspection and Enforcement Harold Reis, Esquire
