Dear ter.

1tAII a~roay O ION Re: RI 0-25 , -25 ~0-33I~ io ul 1 e 21 As mentioned in our initial response to Bulletin 80-21 (L-80-403) dated December ll, 1980, we have contacted all of the manufacturers who have supplied safety related valves for Turkey Point Units 3 & 4 and St. Lucie Unit 1. Me have received written confirmation from 17 of 28 manufacturers that parts cast by Malcolm Foundry were not used jn any active safety related valves for these plants. The Anchor Darling Valve Company has notified us that they have supplied some valves for St. Lucie with Malcolm Foundry parts, but none are active safety related valves.

Should any of the remaining valve manufacturers report in their responses that Malcolm Foundry parts were used in active safety related valves we will provide a further report.

Very truly yours, gg Vice President Advanced Systems Im Technology REU/PLP/mbd cc: Director, Office of Inspection and Enforcement Harold Reis, Esquire Sg 6pyeo ~44 PEOPLE... SERVING PFOPLF
