Dear Dr. Uhrig:

The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment Ho.

DPR-41 for the Turkey Point Plant Unit No.4.

The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application transmitted by letter dated December 18, 1980.

The amendment permits continued operation of Unit 4 for six equivalent months of operation from January 13, 1981 at which time the steam genera-tor for Unit 4 shall be inspected.

This action,fs subject to your submittal for staff review, information concernihg the tube wastage pre-

'dicted to occur during the 'Iatter half of the pperhting period which begins January 13, 1981 and extends for sic equivalent months of oper-ation.

This information is to be supplied by February 28, 1981.

Copies of the Safety Evaluation and the Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
