CONFIRMATION OF ACTION This refers to my telephone conversation of December 23, 1980, with C.

- Woody, Manager, Power Resources, Nuclear, regarding the low level radioactively contaminated earth at the Turkey Point site.
With regard to the matters discussed, it is our. understanding that you will take the following actions:
l.
Perform a comprehensive evaluation of the Turkey Point site to identify and quantify all areas of contaminated
- earth, including areas within the restricted area.
2.
Evaluate the existing and potential environmental impact of the contamination.
3.
Review the history of events that have contributed to the con-tamination and define completed and proposed actions planned to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
4.
Define your proposed corrective action to clean up the identified areas of contamination.
5.
Provide the results of your evaluations and corrective and preventive actions in writing to this office by March 1, 1981.
