JPO 50-250,50-251 IE Bulletin 79-25 The following information supplements our response of December 20, 1979 (1-79-356) to Item 3 of the subject bulletin.

The relays are tested monthly by licensed operations personnel as re-quired by Technical Specification Table 4.1-1, Item 24.

(Reference FSAR Section 8.5.)

The orocedures which implement the testing are OP 1004.2, Reactor Protection System - Periodic Test, and OP 4004.2, Safeguard, Relay Train A, B, and Emergency Load Sequencer Time-Periodic Test.

Additionaly, OP 4104.2 Engineered Safeguards and Emergency Power Systems

- Integrated Test, is performed following each refueling shutdown to verify automatic operation of the system pursuant to the requirements of Technical Soecifications Table 4.1-1 Item 8, Table 4.2-1 Item 8, and 4.8.l.b.

Relay failures, maintenance",

and testing are documented.

These reports are maintained in our General Equipment Modification Svstem (GEMS) data base.
