Representatives

NRR staff personnel at Atlanta, Georgia,
to discuss specific current areas
of concern.
The meeting
was held at the request of the NRC.

involved the results of the Quality Assurance
Inspection
conducted
March 12-16 and
19-21,
1979, which is contained in Inspection
Report Nos ~ 50-250/79-11
and 50-251/79-11.
Specific concerns in the area
of management
control systems
and the implementation of those
systems
were highlighted
during the meeting~
The need for adequate
procedural
and administrative controls, generic application of corrective actions
implemented in deficient areas,
and timeliness in implementing corrective
actions
were stressed.
The FP&L representatives
were given presentations
by NRC staff members
from the Operations
Branch
These presentations'enerally
summarized
inspection findings at the Turkey Point Units
3 and
4 .facilities and
expounded
on the concerns identified above
The presentations
were given
informally, allowing FP&L representatives
the opportunity to discuss
any aspects
of the
NRC inspection findings and identified concerns.
